Nordic International Management Institute (NIMI) in Xindu District, Chengdu is a newly established institution dedicated to offering world class leadership and business development for managers and organizations in China and the Asia-Pacific Region.
NIMI is the centerpiece of the Nordic City of Living & Learning; one of 11 major development projects for China\'s famously classic and beautiful city of Chengdu. NIMI has links with leading business schools and universities world-wide, while rooted in special relationships with universities in Scandinavia.

NIMI is the result of collaboration amongst government and academia from China and Northern Europe. The original planning took place in 2007 in meetings held between the Danish government Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the governors of Sichuan Province and Chengdu City. The Nordic Academic Campus will be fully completed in 2011. NIMI will deliver high-quality executive development programs on an in-company and open enrollment basis, as well as Doctorate and EMBA programs in partnership with established Nordic and international universities as well as Chinese academic institutions.
