Position: Program Coordinator
Payment Range: 4500-5500RMB
The Program Coordinator will be responsible for a multitude of tasks concerning the program communications and operations, and will work closely with Program Director, field and local Supervisors, as well as other relevant administrative and program staff to ensure the smooth and successful running of the program.
The position responsibilities will include:
Translating program E-mail correspondences, reports, documents and related materials from Chinese to English and vice versa
Serving as a liaison between the program directors, field and local staff, welfare institutions and Beijing office
Facilitating communication between the program director, field and local supervisors
Following up on program-related applications, requests, as well as problem identification and solving
Enhancing coordination between program staff and support departments at Beijing office
Contributing to exchanges and cooperation among all programs
Maintaining and updating the program database
Occasional travel
Translating during curriculum training
Basic Administrative work (phone call and e-mail correspondence, filing…)
Performing other duties as requested
Qualifications and Experience required:
Bachelor’s Degree and above (native Chinese speaker & English Major preferred)
Excellent Chinese/English translation and interpretation skills
At least one year’s work experience
Good computer and communicating skills
High efficiency, organized, flexible, can work under pressure, willing to travel if necessary
Team player, stable personality, passionate about NGO work.
