QUALITY INSPECTION JOB DESCRIPTION – SOPRANO ASIA

Quality inspector typically works in a manufacturing environment, and responsibilities include inspecting, testing, sampling, and sorting products or goods being manufactured. The manufactured products can include a large range of items. Depending the type of manufacturing environment, a Quality Inspector can also be required to have some technical knowledge.
Job Description
Main Activities: validation procedures documented by the organization and follows those procedures. If a manufactured product does not meet quality specifications, the Quality Inspector must report the failures to headquarter writing clear reports with pictures and comments;
Depending on the manufactured goods they\'re inspecting, they also test samples to verify the goods comply with company specifications
Inspectors will work in a wide variety of manufacturing environments, and depending on the products being manufactured, inspection can involve sight and smell analysis. They may be required to operate the equipment or machinery manufactured, ensuring all functional parts are working properly.
Work in our laboratory to make some tests like salt-spray test, cycling tests, electrical tests and fill reports.
Educational Background
Inspector is required to have a high school diploma (Major in engineering is desirable)
Basic Computer Knowledge;
Intermediate/Advanced English knowledge (Desirable: intermediate spoken and fluent written)
Technical Skill
Metrology;
Be able to read technical drawings;
Must be familiar with instruments such as caliper, multimeter, scales, micrometer, etc.;
Be familiar with factories environment;
1 year experience;
Personal and Behavioral Requirements
Business Skills: collaboration, commitment and focus on results.
Work Skills: focused attention, confidence and confidentiality/reliability, flexibility, organization.
General Aspect
The inspector will be working most of time inside the factories performing inspection and report to Brazil,it is mandatory availability for week journey travels. Organizational and respectful behaviour is required.
