背景简介Background Introduction
LIM是一家创建于美国加利福尼亚州，久负盛名的国际性规划、建筑、景观设计公司。LIM这一概念创建于20世纪30年代初，为纪念著名建筑大师Ludwig Mies Van der Rohe 发起，他坚持“Less Is More”的建筑设计哲学，在处理手法上主张流动空间的新概念。Ludwig Mies Van der Rohe的设计作品中各个细部精简到不可精简的绝对境界，不少作品结构几乎完全暴露，但是它们高贵、雅致，已使结构本身升华为建筑艺术。Seagram Building为世界上第一栋高层的玻璃帷幕大楼。内部不少设施也由密斯与他的徒弟Philip Johnson一手包办。大楼前的广场约占地基一半，这在当时也是创举。现代主义被带到美国后，结合企业家的力量，实践了许多作品。由于形式上的精简，容易模仿，因此很快影响到世界各地，也影响了其它领域的设计。
LIM is a prestigious company founded in California, USA, specializing in planning, architecture and landscape design. LIM concept was introduced in early 1930s to commemorate Ludwig Mies Van der Rohe, a renowned architect, who believed in ‘Less Is More’ philosophy of architectural design and advocate the new concept of free-flowing space in architecture. The details of the design works of Ludwig Mies Van der Rohe are downsized to the absolute realm, the structure is almost in complete exposure in some of his works, but their nobility and elegance have elevated the structure itself to the art of architecture. Seagram Building is the first glass-covered, high rise office tower in the world. A lot of internal facilities were done by Mies and his disciple Philip Johnson. One of the innovations was the size of the square in front of the building which was half the size of the foundation. When modernism was brought to the United States, a number of works were done in conjunction with the power of entrepreneurs. The simplicity of form was easy to follow, so the concept was spread over the world and had also affected the design in other fields.

随着中国建设事业的飞速发展与市场需求，LIM希望通过各类项目，将先进的设计理念以及对未来建筑的期许带进中国市场。由于各种原因，使LIM未能最佳时间进入中国，导致其在中国市场的发展减缓，但是通过近几年的努力以及与中美双方设计师的磨合，得到了越来越多业主的认可，公司的发展也步入一个崭新阶段。LIM在中国的全资子公司为“林盟国际建筑规划设计有限公司”，该团队由美、中两地设计师共同构成，在历史的长河中我们充分依托公司国际化的设计背景、丰富的管理经验、深厚的技术功底、敬业的工作态度以及对中国建筑市场的不断探索，在城市综合体、商业建筑、办公建筑、居住建筑、超高层建筑、公共建筑等方面设计了超过200个项目的建筑设计！在承担中国项目的设计工作中，我们不但协助客户梳理设计流程、满怀热情参与头脑风暴直至形成创意独特的解决方案，而且还在后续深化设计和施工图设计过程中担当甲方设计顾问，按照北美技术标准完善细部设计并协调审核包括建筑设计、景观设计、室内设计、照明设计、幕墙设计等各类专项工程图纸，协助甲方把控设计质量，从而实现以优秀的设计服务提升项目的物业价值。公司地址毗邻浙江大学，在为市场提供设计带来的价值的同时，也倾力于开展学术性研究，为中国的建筑市场发展以及LIM在中国的适应奠定良好的基础。
LIM in China
With the rapid development and market demand of China’s construction business, LIM decided to introduce the advanced design concepts as well as expectations of future building into the Chinese market through a variety of projects. Due to some reasons, LIM did not enter into the Chinese market at the best time, which makes its development in China lagged down. However, through the efforts of the past few years and the cooperation between Chinese and American designers, the company has been recognized by more and more owners, leading its development to a new stage. LIM has set up a wholly owned subsidiary in China, Lin Meng International Architecture Planning and Design Limited. The design team is constituted by Chinese and American designers. Relying on the company\'s international design background, rich management experience, strong technical skills and professional working attitude plus its never-ending exploring in Chinese construction market, we have designed over 200 projects in the long course of history, including urban complexes, commercial buildings, office buildings, residential buildings, ultra-high-rise buildings, public buildings, etc. During the design course of projects in China, we also assist clients in design process optimization, brainstorming participating until the unique creative solutions have come out. During the process of subsequent detailed design and construction design, we act as client’s design consultant, improving the detail design in accordance with North American technical standards and applying coordination and examination methods to all kinds of special engineering drawings include architectural design, landscape design, interior design, lighting design, curtain wall design, etc., therefore assisting our clients to control the quality of design and enhancing the value of the property project by excellent design services. Our design team in Hangzhou is well known to Chinese clients. We have partners all over major cities and are able to provide direct technical services for most of the projects. Our design team is led by senior American designers, specialized to provide cost-effective and professional services for Chinese clients. The technical services are in accordance with the industry standards of North American. If necessary, our Chinese design team can work with American designers and undertake the project design tasks, providing more direct international services.
