The company was founded on a self-owned intellectual property, the copyright of a system called LogicSQL, developed at University of Alberta, Canada. The company will put on the market, by the end of 2003, the first China-made DBMS that allows more than one thousand users to access the same database concurrently, with the performance comparable to that of Oracle. The goal of the company is to take a major share of the Chinese database market, and grow into one of the software power houses in China in 5 years and export its products worldwide.
