PHT HISTORY
PHT International was founded in Charlotte, NC in 1993 by Mrs. Li Hong Yu. PHT International began as a chemical trading company specializing in textile and dye intermediates. After several successful years, PHT International broadened its product base to include agricultural and pharmaceutical products as well.
In order to keep up with an ever-changing industry, PHT International migrated from a trading only company to a one-stop full service chemical provider complete with R&D, procurement, logistics, import/export services, trading and manufacturing. In recent years, PHT International has expanded its available resources by solidifying several joint ventures and manufacturing arrangements.
PHT stands for People, Honest, Trust. In the logo, the structures behind “PHT” represent the people behind its services. The colors of our logo have significance as well. Gold is for the golden dragon, a revered symbol of leadership in China. Dark red is for the passion and dedication of PHT International’s people. Gray denotes PHT International’s ability to find solutions in the “gray areas”- as the world is seldom just black and white. From our Chinese roots, we use our passion and ability to find creative solutions in the chemical industry.
