? Must have CET4 level in reading, writing and spoken English. All interviews will be conducted in English.
Basic Job Description:
Provide quality QC inspection services to ensure that products are successfully manufactured to the customers’ quality standards.
Skills:
1. Native Chinese with Fluent English (Written and Spoken to minimum CET4 level)
2. Engineering degree or equivalent work experience. An understanding of manufacturing process such as sheet metal fabrication, plastic fabrication, plastic vacuum forming, plastic injection moulding, screen-printing, etc would be beneficial.
3. Excellent Quality Inspection skills (must be able to inspect materials, components and assemblies, solve minor quality issues with factory,
4. Good PC skills, proficient in MS Office and AutoCad (SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD package an advantage).
5. A self motivated individual, how id methodical and has a good attention to detail
6. Excellent team player with strong organization, communication and presentation skills.
Responsibilities:
1. Work as part of a multi discipline team, reporting to the Shanghai based QA Manager.
2. Carry out QC inspection of production orders placed with Chinese suppliers by means of visual verification and dimensional inspection techniques to approved specifications.
3. Inspect prototypes and first article samples from production tooling. Reporting back to the relevant Project Manager and briefing the supplier’s quality personnel on the critical items to be checked during production.
4. Work closely with Chinese suppliers and provide QC advice before and during the manufacturing process to ensure that projects are delivered to the required quality.
5. Monitor the factory’s QC procedures to ensure they are providing adequate quality inspections on each project.
6. Take responsibility for ensuring that all QC documentation is correct and properly filed for easy review.
Experience and Qualifications:
1. Ideally a Degree or equivalent in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering.
2. Supplementary qualifications in QC Inspection. Must have at least 2 years experience in a similar role.
3. Good reading, writing, listening and spoken English skills. Must have CET4 level.
