李尔长安（重庆）汽车系统有限责任公司是由美国李尔公司、长安汽车（集团）有限责任公司、重庆华亚总公司、重庆大江工业（集团）有限责任公司、重庆南方工程塑料厂五方共同出资，于1998年11月成立的中外合资企业。
established in november 1998, chongqing lear changan (chongqing) automotive system co., ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “lear changan”) is a joint venture with investment from five parties, namely, lear corporation, changan motor (group) co., ltd., chongqing hua ya co., chongqing da jiang industrial (group) co, ltd. and chongqing south engineering plastics co.
公司总部位于重庆北部新区经开园云松路7号，铃木座椅分部位于重庆市巴南区，距长安铃木公司仅300米路程。在广西柳州、南京和广东花都分别设有分公司和办事处。公司现有员工1130人。

公司拥有自己的汽车座椅技术研发中心，多次派管理技术人员到世界500强之一的李尔公司设立于美国、英国、印度、泰国、菲律宾等国的工厂或技术中心实习、培训、工作。工程师们能熟练运用ug及i-deas软件进行产品开发，所有的项目管理均严格按照lpmp程序实施。技术中心实验室已具规模，具有三坐标测量仪等先进检测试验设备。
lear changan has established its own automotive seating engineering center and has dispatched managers / engineers to study, attend training and work in lear corporation’s plants and engineering centers located in usa, uk, india, thailand and philippines. the engineers have good command of ug and i-deas for product r&d. all program management is implemented strictly based on lpmp requirement. the test lab of engineering center is equipped with multiple advanced testing equipments such as 3d cmm (coordinate measurement machine).

in august 2003, lear changan was certified to ts16949 /iso14001 quality guarantee system by german tuv co. and was honored “q1 excellent supplier” by changan ford in december 2003. seats and interiors for changan star series were certified with 3c china automotive products.
目前，李尔长安公司已建成公司局域网，全面实现了计算机内外部信息资源共享，可利用李尔公司全球33个国家100多个企业和15个技术中心的资源。qad/erp系统于2002年6月在公司内全面实施。
