公司总部位于美国加州圣何西市（硅谷），专业从事为全球运营商提供领先的宽带无线数据网络产品的研发。2000年，为Cisco（思科）公司开发出第一台商用的大型移动IP (Mobile IPv4 & IPv6)仿真测试器。2001年，为美国市场开发出第一台商用的CDMA 2000 1x 网络仿真测试器。凯讯公司于2001年12月在风景秀美的杭州成立中国区的研发中心，并在全国设有多家办事处。公司致力于为企事业、电信运营商等提供基于IEEE 802.11标准的全套无线接入整体解决方案W@Net, 其产品涵盖无线网桥、AP基站，无线网卡、无线接入网关、无线宽带网络运营支撑系统软件 以及各种宽带无线应用系统。
凯讯公司拥有多项无线专利技术，公司核心团队来自美国思科无线部门，参与国际上多项无线标准的制定，同时研发出具有自主知识产权的无线接入设备——Airogate 2000无线网关。该产品是目前国内唯一通过公安部检测（并获得公安部销售许可认证的无线接入控制设备），在业界具有世界领先的水平。同时，根据中国网络建设的实际情况，以该网关为核心提出了崭新的高速无线接入解决方案，使组建具有强大网络管理和组网能力的、可运营、可维护、电信级的高速宽带无线以太网接入系统成为可能，从而把传统的WLAN技术一跃提升为具有中国特色的通信级的Wireless-Ethernet技术，并成为世界级的通信设备供应商。
