In 2005, 4 in 10 cars were sold in conjunction with a BMW Financial Services contract. Financial Services provides a wide range of services which include among others financing products, leasing services, fleet management, insurance and banking products. Financial Services provides added value by winning and loyalizing customers through providing a comprehensive range of financial services solutions and by delivery sustainable profits and returns.
Financial Services is present in 53 countries around the world. In the near future BMW Group hopes to add one more country: the People\'s Republic of China. Currently BMW Group is in the application process to obtain a license from the relevant authorities. In 2007 BMW Group hopes to start offering a selection of Financial Services products and by doing so enhance the BMW experience for our customers.
