(FKAB China) www.fkab.com was established in 2001 by and between Fartygskonstruktioner AB (FKAB Sweden, holding 66% of shares) and Chinese partner, Dalian Shipbuilding Technology Research Centre Co., Ltd., (DASTEC, holding 34% of shares). Turn over the recent years has been approx. 40 Million RMB.
The major shareholder, FKAB Sweden, established in 1961, is a full service Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering Consultancy company. FKAB Sweden belongs to the private group company Mattsson Group www.mattsson.se with business of Precision Machinery and Paper Machine Industry. FKAB has offices in Uddevalla and Gothenburg.
FKAB China enables FKAB opportunity to provide the Chinese shipbuilding industry with a modern approach to development, design and project management.
