衡东通讯产品（昆明）有限公司是专业从事光通信产品研发、制造、销售和服务，并致力于无源光网络和FTTX的发展和应用的高科技外资企业。2001年11月成立于中国昆明，位于昆明市高新技术产业开发区。厂房占地面积6000多平方米，员工总数600多人。是国内最大的光连接设备提供商之一。
2003年，公司通过了ISO9001：2000质量管理体系认证，并同时按照Telcordia的行业标准进行全过程控制，从而为客户提供了高质量、高可靠性的产品及服务。2005年公司又通过信息产业部泰尔认证中心的TLC认证,使公司产品取得通信网络系统的入网许可。2007年2月14日，公司又通过了ISO14001：2004环境管理体系认证。七年来，公司已积累了丰富的研发经验，具备较强的研发能力，能快速响应客户的需求。产品范围为陶瓷插芯、陶瓷套筒、1~432芯的单芯/多芯光纤连接线、多纤尾缆、衰减器、适配器、室内（外）配线箱、交接箱、分光器、接头盒、配线架等多种光无源设备和配件。
公司总部在香港，在昆明有主要生产总装基地，在国内开设深圳、上海、北京、南京、成都等多个办事处；East point solution 是公司在美国的销售办事处。在国外设立美国波士顿、纽约、日本东京等分支机构。产品覆盖了北美、日本、欧洲、中国大陆等地区；在电信、有线电视、光纤到户、光纤到楼、光纤到桌面、网络电视等诸多领域都有应用。

EAST POINT COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY (KUNMING) CO., LTD. (EPCOM) is a high-tech foreign capital company specializing in designing, manufacturing, selling communication products and providing related service. It is dedicated to developing and applying passive optical fiber network and FTTX. Set up in November 2001, EPCOM is located at High and New Technology Development Zone, Kunming, China, covering an area of 6,000 square meters and having more than 600 employees. At present, it is one of the biggest optical fiber connector manufacturers in China.
In 2003, EPCOM became an ISO9001: 2000 registered company. At the same time, it manufactures products in accordance with Telcordia industrial standard with overall process control so as to provide products and services with high quality and reliability. In 2005, EPCOM passed the certification of Telecommunication Certification of Information Industry Ministry, which entitles its products access to communication network system. On 14 February 2007, EPCOM was also approved by ISO14001: 2004 for environment management system. In the past 7 years, EPCOM has gained strong experience and capabilities in research and design and is able to respond to customer requirements immediately. Its product category covers ceramic ferrule, ceramic sleeve, single or multiple optical fiber (ranging from 1F to 432F) connector, multiplex pigtail, attenuator, adaptor, indoor (outdoor) distribution module, enclosure, splitter, terminal box, distribution frame and passive optical fiber equipment and fittings.
With its headquarter in Hong Kong, Kunming facility serves as main assembly base and the Company also has offices in Shenzhen, Shanghai, Beijing, Nanjing and Chengdu, and East Point Solution as the branch office in Boston, New York (USA) and Tokyo (Japan). Its products are sold to North America, Japan, Europe, and China mainland and applied in many fields, such as, telecommunication, cable television, FTTH, FTTB, FTTD and network television.
