Joint Venture between Yara and Sinofert – Purico
·Yara and Sinofert formed a joint venture, Purico, to provide DeNOx solutions, including AdBlue, in China.
·Based in Qingdao, Purico will spearhead Air1 marketing in China.
·Purico aims to be the leading AdBlue solution provider in China through Air1 concept.
·Yara, founded in 1905 as Norsk Hydro, is a global chemical company that converts energy, natural minerals and nitrogen from the air into essential products for the farming community and industrial customers;
·In 2008, Yara had about 8,000 employees worldwide, and sales of about USD 15 bn. Yara is also the largest supplier of environmental chemicals in Europe for DeNOx in heavy diesel vehicles (AdBlue) and industrial plants and have been involved in the DeNOx business since 1990’s;
·Yara formed a joint venture with Sinofert in China to offer AdBlue solutions to the Chinese market.
