Founded in year 2001 in Shanghai, Bureau Veritas Consulting (Shanghai) Co. Ltd. is a part as an operation platform of Bureau Veritas Industry and Facilities Division which is a business line of Bureau Veritas Group, the leading international group providing certification, conformity assessment, training and consulting services in the fields of Quality, Health, Safety, Environment and Social Accountability (QHSE&SA). In year 2005 Bureau Veritas Consulting (Shanghai) Co. Ltd. sets up a branch which is called Bureau Veritas Consulting (Shanghai) Co. Ltd. Guangzhou Branch. Set up in year 2003 in Beijing, Falide Quality International Assessment Co., Ltd. also belongs to Industry and Facilities Division.
Our capability covered many markets such as construction, industry, energy, transport and services. Its activity can involve, for example, verifying the different steps of a building’s construction, or reviewing offshore construction plans, controlling the environmental impact of an industrial plant, inspecting goods before shipment in a port, or certifying products or systems. Also we provides training and consulting services of the management system certification in the QHSE&SA domains, such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, TL 9000, IECQ-HSPM QC 080000, etc.
Our customers include not only domestic companies like CNOOC, SINOPEC, Three Gorges Electric, but also multinational companies like ALSTOM, AREVA, SONY, CARREFOUR, L’Oreal, etc.
Bureau Veritas Industry and Facilities Division has over 400 employees working in the offices in Shanghai, Guangzhou, Beijing and other 14 offices across China respectively subjected to the Bureau Veritas Consulting (Shanghai) Co. Ltd., Bureau Veritas Consulting (Shanghai) Co. Ltd. Guangzhou Branch and Falide Quality International Assessment Co., Ltd. Most of the 400 employees are all skilled experts and engineers familiar with domestic regulations and conversant with international practices.
