Founded in 1948, AVL List GmbH is the world\'s one of the largest privately owned and independent company for the development of powertrain systems with internal combustion engines as well as Engine Instrumentation and Test Systems. Today AVL is a competent partner to the engine and automotive industry. Headquartered in Beijing, in order to respond to the needs in the engine and automotive business from a stronger base, AVL China has been speeding up its business development in China and has set up its technical center in Shanghai Pu Dong area known as AVL List Technical Center (Shanghai) Co., Ltd.
