Established in 1962, Deutsche Leasing (DL) is the largest independent leasing company in Germany. It has set up subsidiaries or operative partnerships in more than dozen other European countries. In order to follow the business streams of its European vendor partners, Deutsche Leasing has established a wholly foreign owned enterprise (WFOE) subsidiary Deutsche Leasing (China) Co., Ltd. in Shanghai, China to provide mainly finance lease services. Many of these vendor partners are already active in the large and rapidly expanding China market. DL China will provide and support vendor programmes for a number of international equipment manufacturers in the sectors of print equipment, material handling, construction equipment, and machine tools, etc.
