CITS Overseas Economic Cooperation Corp. (CITS-OECC) is a specialized labor service company under the China International Travel Service Head Office. Approved by the China National Tourism Administration and authorized by the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation, it is the one and only enterprise in China's tourist industry empowered to carry out labor cooperation with foreign countres, train contract workers, researchers and students for going abroad, and provide consulting service on economic and trade cooperation with foreign countries.
Its main lines of business are:
1. To send managerial personnel, technicians and service workers in the tourism, hotel and catering businesses, as well as technicians and contract workers in other trades, to countries and regions overseas.
2. To send professional technicians and managerial personnel of different levels to foreign-funded enterprises and joint ventures in China.
3. To provide information and consulting service to industrial and commercial enterprises and non-govemmental organizations both at home and abroad, for trade discussions, economic and trade non-govemmental organizations both at home and abroad, for trade discussions, economic and trade cooperation, technological exchange, visits and inspection.
4. To provide consulting service to Chinese citizens regarding emigration, employment, training, studying abroad and attending exhibitions or conferences, and to overseas citizens wish to work, study or reside in China.
5. To Provide training for contract workers, students and researchers to be sent abroad in technical know-how, language, and understanding of conditions in the countries where they are to be employed, and to issue "Certificate of the People's Republic of China for Training of Researchers and Students Sent Abroad"and "Certificate of the People's Republic of China for Training of Contract Workers Sent Abroad".
6. To Provide consulting service on tourism, trade, conferences, exhibitions transportation and ticketing.
Over the past years, CITS-OECC has established business relations with numerous customers in Japan, Korea, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Holland, Russia, Romania, Hungary, The US, Australia and other countries and regions, providing them with tourism attendants, technicians and skilled workers for long periods of time. It has a large reserve force of technicians and skilled workers of medium and high levels from many different trades and professions, and therefore can guarantee adequate human resources for labor service overseas at all times. It has on many occasions successfully provided consulting service to foreign businessmen on technical cooperation.
CITS-OECC has also set up an officially-registered "CITS-Tourism Labor Service Training Center", which is open to all society and provides technical training in cooking, service and other trades, and issues certificates recognized by the state.
