上海松江李尔汽车地毯声学元件有限公司是一家由美国李尔中国有限公司和上海汽车地毯总厂共同出资组建的中外企业。公司成立于一九九七年十一月份，总投资1480万美元，其中外方各占50%股份，占地面积16640平方米，建筑面积4800平方米，主要生产汽车用化纤簇绒地毯、针刺地毯以及隔音垫。
九十年代后期兴建的“上海通用”项目为公司参与汽车地毯及隔音垫国产化提供了契机。李尔公司的先进技术及管理，加之上海汽车地毯总厂长期国产化配套单位，并被其认定为汽车联合发展中心成员。除此以外，还为上海大众、东风日产、北京吉普、金杯通用、安徽奇瑞等汽车公司提供地毯。目前公司已形成生产能力轿车地毯30万套，商务旅行地毯5万套，及隔音垫10万套的能力。
公司从组建起步开始，就十分注重技术管理水平的提高。公司引进国外先进技术设备生产的地毯及隔音垫，在国内外同行中处于领先地位，发泡地毯填补了国内空白。公司于2002年通过ISO/TS16949国际质量论证，ISO14001环境管理体系论证。应用QAD计算机管理系统与实施六西格玛流程改善，为精益生产提供了可靠保证。
Shanghai Songjiang Lear Automotive Carpet & Acoustics Co., Ltd. is a joint venture between Lear Corporation China Limited and Shanghai Car Carpet Plant. Established in November 1997 with total investment of US 14.8 million dollars, 4800 square metres land, each partner holds 50% ownership. We are specialized in manufacturing tufted carpet, needle punched carpets, and insulators for the automotive industry.
At the end of 1990s, the startup of Shanghai General Motors program provided an excellent opportunity for us to get involved in th localization of carpet and insulator. With advanced technology and management provided by Lear and longtime localization experience of Shanghai Car Carpet Plant, we become the sole carpet supplier of Shanghai General Motors and member of its Joint Development Center. In addition.we also supply carpets to Shanghai Volkswagon, Dong Feng Nissan, Beijing Jeep, Jinber GM, and Anhui Qirui. At present,we have annual production capacity of passenger car carpet 50000 sets, insulator 100000 sets.
From the beginning of our joint venture, we paid a great attention to advance our technology and managemetn. With the latest equipment and process to manufacture carpet and insulator, we established our leadship in the Chinese automotive carpet industry. We are the first company to have foam-in-place system in China. We received ISO/TS16949 and ISO14001 certification in 2002. The implementation of QAD and Six Sigma made our lean manufacturing system possible.
