Weir Warman Limited, a member of The Weir Minerals Group, are market leaders in the design, manufacture and supply of slurry pumps to the world mining markets. Based on the growth in the Chinese non ferrous mineral processing market, we are seeking to appoint various Sales Engineers, to be based in various local provinces, to develop the sales of Warman slurry pumps in the rapidly expanding Chinese mining market. This position should provide a range of diverse, challenging and rewarding tasks.
The person we are seeking will ideally have had exposure to the capital equipment market or be in a similar role in a company promoting equipment or a service to the mining market. The preferred qualifications should include a good understanding of various mineral processing applications found in industries such as alumina, copper, lead / zinc. Exposure to slurry pumps would also be very highly regarded. Cultural awareness, patience, team player skills and the ability to work independently are key attributes which are required in order to succeed in this position. The individual must be adept at building and supporting strong customer relationships (Guanxi) which are critical to our success in this market. A good command of spoken and written English is preferred but not essential.
