In conjunction with our member organisation, CBBC is currently looking to recruit a candidate for the following position, which will be based in Qingdao downtown area.
CBBC Project Executive
Company: The member organisation is a UK based company with operations worldwide specialising in the production and supply of frozen fruits, vegetables and fruit juice concentrates.
Role: Working with the CBBC Qingdao, the member organization wishes to expand on their current business in China.
Main responsibilities of job
• Overseeing current business within China:
- purchasing/shipment/quality control of in excess of 2500 tonnes
• Supplier Development
- sourcing new suppliers and developing relationships
- introducing required quality controls
• Providing market information and product offers
• Quality Control
- factory audits
- production control
- final product qc
• Sourcing new products
• Developing sales to the world market through the UK company
Requirements
• Bachelor degree
• Fluent written and spoken English is essential
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience in the fruit / vegetable industry either in manufacturing or trading
• Qualifications/experience in exporting preferred but not essential
• Qualifications/ experience in food hygiene/technology preferred but not essential
The job holder will report administratively to CBBC’s office manager in Qingdao and functionally will report to and be supported by the company in the UK.
