Your New Company is a US international corporation that develops and sells it\'s technologically advanced range products, integrated systems and consulting services to the world\'s leading companies. As a market leader internationally and in Asia, this is an exciting opportunity to lead the HR efforts for the China operations.
This position is for a Leader who is capable of accepting the challenge of managing the important human resources function across China and consistent with other countries and world\'s best practice. In your new role, you will manage a team of 5 HR people throughout China, covering in excess of 500 staff in manufacturing, sales, marketing and administration. The China Region is earmarked for growth so the role would suit a strategic focussed executive who can lead and manage the HR team to provide viable and innovative HR solutions to the business, and implement best practice HR initiatives to ensure organisational excellence and increased business productivity. Some of your initial tasks will be to establish your resourcing needs, build a cohesive team, review compensation and benefits programs, build business relationships with functional managers and implement change management programmes.
You will be an experienced Human Resources Manager, with technical skills and superior management credentials. You will have university qualifications. You will have strong capabilities and demonstrated success in a key human resources role with a US multinational, with responsibilities for manufacturing and sales. You will have strong knowledge of the Chinese labour market and employment legislation, and considerable change management experience. You will be a mentor to your team, have a vision for human resources, and be capable of engendering a spirit of work and ownership in your team. You will have superior communications skills-both in English and Mandarin.
