Champion is the Carrefour group\'s french standard bearer store in the supermarket category. It is the second-largest supermarket chain in France, with more than 1000 supermarkets (including 500 partners and franchisees) containing overall more than 1,500,000 sq.m of shopping surface area. The chain is also well-established in Europe (Belgium, Spain, Poland, Greece, Turkey) and in South America (Argentina, Brazil).
