为顺应铁路投融资体制改革对融资渠道多样化的要求，中国铁路物资股份有限公司联合日本欧力士集团公司，合资设立了中铁租赁有限公司。公司于2006年2月正式开业，总部位于上海浦东新区陆家嘴，公司现注册资本4000万美金。
中铁租赁有限公司是第一家专业服务于轨道交通专用设备，尤其是铁路机车车辆等移动设备的融资租赁公司。公司依托控股股东中国铁物长期服务铁路的行业背景，依靠高素质的专业化团队，致力于在中国铁路运营、铁路建设、铁路生产和城市轨道交通等领域开展各种形式的租赁服务。

China Railway Leasing Corporation (CRLC) is jointly funded by China Railway Materials Commercial Corporation (CRM) and ORIX Corporation, in order to support the great-leap-forward development of railway industry and to diversify financial channels to suit the needs of railway investment and financial system reform.
CRLC opened in Feb.2006 with its headquarters located in Pudong, Shanghai. CRLC is the first financial leasing company providing professional services for railway equipment, especially mobile devices like rolling stocks. Drawing on the industrial backgrounds and connections accumulated by CRM, the controlling shareholder, along with the professional team of high-quality, CRLC is committed to providing various leasing services for railway operation, railway construction, railway production and urban rail transit.
