The Asia Pacific-region and China in particular, is one of Stora Enso’s clearly stated geographical areas for strategic investments. To facilitate the industrial growth in China, Stora Enso has formed a country based organization unit, Stora Enso China (SEC), with head office located in Shanghai. The main tasks for SEC are to identify potential business opportunities such as projects/acquisition targets, to take part in or lead decided projects, to set country policies in staff functions and to provide administrative support to Stora Enso’s operating entities in China. SEC works in close co-operation with the product based divisions and corporate functions in Stora Enso.
亚太区尤其中国是斯道拉恩索战略投资版图上最重要的市场之一。为促进业务在中国的长期发展，集团在上海设立了斯道拉恩索中国总部（Stora Enso China）。斯道拉恩索中国的主要任务是为集团在中国寻找潜在的业务发展机会，如新产能的投资及战略合并项目，参与及领导项目的实施，制定中国区的相关公司管理政策并为在中国的各营运实体提供行政支持。斯道拉恩索中国同时也与集团的产品事业部和其他职能部门进行紧密的合作。
