EasySky is a Joint Venture established between Thales (world leader in designing and building mission-critical information systems for defence and security, aerospace and transportation) and Technology & Equipment Development Company Ltd. (TEDC) in Nov 2007
EasySky’s mission statement is three-fold:
- Become a major actor in the domain of Small & Medium Air Traffic Control (ATC) systems in China with a specific product & services offering.
- Become the maintenance & upgrade partner of choice for the Thales ATC installed-base in China.
- Actively participate to R&D activities in China in the field of Air Traffic Management.
Primarily to develop and innovate in local ATC systems aiming at providing high-quality and reliable products & services to the Chinese ATM community Small & Medium ATC Systems
EasySky already benefits from a solid skill set on both technical and managerial levels.
Staff Experience:
- Undisputed track record from fielded projects in China and abroad.
- Involved from day one in the NESACC, Chengdu, Beijing Terminal Area, Hefei and Tianjing ATC programs with a very large spectrum of diversified activities.
EasySky actively pursues the implementation of its Product Roadmap to answer the needs for Small&Medium ATC systems: “SkyNET-X”
SkyNET-X is fully adapted to handle En-Route (ACC) , Approach (APP) and Tower (TWR) types of control.
SkyNET-X implements the Thales Eurocat-X technology that controls today more than 60% of the total Chinese air traffic (Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Chengdu, Beijing Approach, Hefei and Tianjin).
The same technology baseline is today in operation worldwide with references as prestigious as Australia, South-Africa, Vietnam, Mexico, Egypt and many others.
SkyNET-X inherits directly from the Thales Eurocat-X technology and can therefore propose the same baseline to its customers in accordance with their requirements.
