Global Service Delivery in China is represented by HSBC Electronic Data Processing (Guangdong) Ltd. (HDPG) and was incorporated in Guangdong, China. The first centre among the 19 Group Service Centres (GSC) in HSBC GSD organisation commenced operations in Guangzhou in 1996 to provide operational support to HSBC\'s offices around the world. Since then, HDPG has experienced a rapid growth. The clientele covers HSBC entities in Hong Kong, the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada, Japan, Area Office China, Singapore and Macau who are provided banking and financial services support in multiple languages, including Cantonese, Mandarin, English, Japanese, Korean and Thai. In 2012, we moved to Taikoo Hui, which is a commercial complex developed by Swire in the Guangzhou CBD. It is 77,000 sqm of prime space near Metro stations that includes two office towers, one hotel, a shopping mall, and a cultural centre.
