HKUST was established in 1991. Its business school is recognized as one of the youngest and most respected in Asia. We are the first business School in the region to be awarded accreditation by both the US-based Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB International) and European Quality Improvement System (EQUIS).
The HKUST Business School has risen to international prominence in a remarkably short period of time since its inception in 1991, attaining consistent recognition for its research achievements and high quality teaching. The HKUST MBA Program was ranked No. 9 in the world by Financial Times 2010. In its 2011 ranking, Financial Times names HKUST MBA Program the world no. 6. We are in the league of the world\'s best MBA programs. For the first time in history, our 3-year average rank enters the world\'s top 10.
The Shenzhen MBA Program launched in 2002. It\'s a 2 years\' part-time MBA program leads to a Master of Business Administration Degree awarded by HKUST. Shenzhen program participants including international students have a similar profile to their counterparts in Hong Kong. From the first intake in 2002 started with 21 students to now with 50-60 participants per cohort, the Shenzhen program is seeking to expand classes for the intake in Fall 2011.
