We are British sourcing company mainly specializing in the casting and machining industries. Our Shanghai representative office seeks to recruit a Foundry Engineer.
The successful applicant will have:
- University degree in Foundry Processes
- More than 8 years working experience in foundry processes for ductile iron, grey iron and it’s machining, etc.
- Experience with X-Ray; Ultrasonic testing; and metallurgical analysis
- Be able to analyze processes for improvement
- Have good knowledge of ISO9000 or equivalent quality systems, and be familiar with the Corrective Action and PPAP processes
- Be able to communicate effectively in both written and spoken English and Mandarin Chinese.
- Willing to travel extensively within China
- Good computer skills in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Machining experience is an advantage
- Responsibilities include: providing technical assistance; leading process improvement activities; Corrective Action activities; and source inspections for PPAP approval.
