SIFE stands for Students In Free Enterprise (for more information, please refer to www.sife.org / www.sifechina.org). SIFE is a global non-profitable organization, supporting university students at more than 1,800 tertiary institutions in 48 countries. Working in partnership with business and higher education, SIFE establishes student teams on university campuses. These teams, led by faculty advisors, and they are empowered to teach ethical entrepreneurship in their local communities.
In China, the growth is explosive, with over 150 teams in 2010. Universities and communities see SIFE as one of the few available options for the best and brightest students to distinguish themselves.
SIFE is expanding nationwide and its presence is in Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Guangzhou, Chengdu, Xi\'an, Wuhan, Changsha, Nanjing, Hangzhou, Tianjin, Harbin, Shenyang, Shenzhen, Zhuhai, Xiamen etc.
