The foundation of Prodrive was set in Eindhoven the Netherlands in 1993. It started with a focus on electronics design, specializing in digital signal processing and motion control. Four years after the foundation, Prodrive moved to the Science Park Eindhoven with 20 employees. A big milestone was set in 1999 when Prodrive started with an own in-house electronics manufacturing facility. In 2006 Prodrive opened a second manufacturing facility to support the rapid growth. Thanks to the powerful business concept of total responsibility with integrated development and manufacturing, growth continues and currently Prodrive accounts for more than 230 full time employees and is expanding internationally by setting foot in Germany, Poland, and China in 2010. For the years to come Prodrive will focus on the Asian market to leverage knowledge and capacity from one branch to another and will continue to grow as a developer, manufacturer and innovator of world class electronic solutions.
Since its establishment Prodrive is developing successful partnerships with customers operating in a broad range of market sectors. Our customers\' focus is on building applications and serving end markets. We focus on delivering and integrating competitive electronic functions into their products and systems. The world class performance of Prodrive applies to both high end products as well as the high volume products with quantities up to 250.000 pieces a year. Furthermore, Prodrive has a technology portfolio that can be leveraged across different market segments.
