Beijing International Group (BIG) is pleased to announce the opening of a full-service marketing, media and consultant office in Beijing focused on the business of sports.
Backed by a wealth of sports business and media experience, “BIG” now proudly joins with the China Tennis Association (CTA) to exclusively develop the international and national commercial opportunities of the China National Tennis Team.
“This is a tremendous opportunity for our company. Tennis is a booming sport in China. The National Tennis Team is led by a great group of women players who are accomplishing great achievements on the world stage. The China Tennis Association is great partner led by Madame Sun. We will do our best to provide high-quality service in support of the team and tennis in China,” explained CEO Tom McCarthy.
The partnership is off to a BIG start as our group is partnering with the CTA to co-organize the International Tennis Federation (ITF) 2006 Fed Cup by BNP Paribas World Group Tie, China vs. Germany set for center court at the Beijing International Tennis Center on July 15-16.
While the China National Tennis Team will be the main focus of our company, we believe that the development of tennis at the local, provincial and national levels is the key to maintaining the growth and success of the National Team program. To support this focused mission, the CTA and “BIG” will soon announce full details of the “China Grand Prix Cup” (new national tennis championship), China Tennis “Live” (national tennis road show) and “Road to a Gold Standard” (national youth tennis competition & development program).
Media support programs is the key to connecting with the Chinese tennis community. “BIG” will soon announce the launch of a new lifestyle tennis TV show that will feature a variety of exciting and interesting unique program elements.
