The foundation of the Rockwell Automation effort in China is a Wholly Foreign Owned Enterprise in Xiamen. We now have sales & support offices throughout China, including sites in Beijing, Shenyang, Xiamen, Shanghai, Wuhan, Hong Kong and Guangzhou. In addition, Rockwell Automation has established a research & development laboratory in Shanghai and automation training labs in major engineering universities. Rockwell Automation is building a long-term commitment to China and to Chinese industry.
Our History in China
We have been active in China since the mid 1970s and have operated a corporate office in Beijing since 1985. We now have nearly 250 employees across all of our businesses in China. Our principal operations are carried out in Beijing, Xiamen, Guangzhou, Shanghai / Pudong, Shenyang, Wuhan, Chongqing, Xi\'an, Dalian and Hong Kong. In addition to sales and marketing offices, we also have manufacturing operations and service centers in China. Rockwell Automation is committed to China and we look forward to further expanding our operations here in the years to come.
