SCHURTER was established in 1933, as a limited partnership by Heinrich Schurter. In 1949, it was transformed into a limited liability company (LLC).
Continuing success has nurtured our company’s growth. Since 1990, all industrial activities has been united under the SCHURTER Holding AG umbrella headquartered in Lucerne (Switzerland). Today, SCHURTER employs a staff of over 1600 worldwide, managed by the family’s third generation: Hans-Rudolf Schurter heads the SCHURTER Group and is the Chairman of the Board of SCHURTER Holding AG. Bruno Schurter is Vice President and Managing Director of Schurter, Inc. in the USA.
We are the leader in our field as innovator, manufacturer and supplier of fuses, connectors, circuit breakers, EMC filters and input systems for the electronics industry.
