Established in 2000 by a group of leading wireless software engineers, we have since developed a unique range of products for a wide variety of customers and industry sectors.
ObexCode is headquartered in Norway, and has established its own Wholly Foreign Owned Enterprise in Shanghai since 2003. We have customers in North America, Europe and Asia, among them leading mobile phone manufacturers. ObexCode is global software partner of Vishay Semiconductor, the world’s leading vendor of IrDA transceivers.

Remote control for mobile devices: ObexCode\'s latest product is a unique software development kit enabling mobile device manufacturers (mobile phones, smartphones, PDAs etc.) to add universal Remote Control functionality to their handsets (to control TV, DVD, Hi-Fi, etc)
IrDA protocol stack: ObexCode\'s vast experience within the field of IrDA technology allows us to offer one of the most efficient IrDA Protocol Stacks available on the market. IrDA is offered by over 30% of all mobile phones worldwide, and its market grew by 28% in 2004, with the strongest growth region in Asia-Pacific.
Due to increased customer activity in China and in Asia-Pacific, we decide to expand our staff in Shanghai and therefore look for highly motivated and skilled development and pre-sales engineers to work with our expanding customer base both in China and other countries in Asia-Pacific.
