INeosonic (previously called Magaline in Taiwan) was founded in 1976 for a battery-related business. Consequently, Neosonic established one of the very earlier battery pack factories in Taiwan in 1985 to provide its customers with better service. It started its Zhuhai factory under the Neosonic name in 1995 (the first Taiwan invested battery packer in China again) to serve its customers from both China and Taiwan. It became the first Motorola qualified global supplier in 1999.
Neosonic entered into Li-polymer battery research and development by the end of 2003. Currently, it designs and manufactures Li-polymer single cell with capacity from 100 mAh to 10,000 mAh. The product portfolio covers regular, high temperature and high performance (over 20 C discharge rate) batteries with application in 3C, power, RC, and other related areas.
