R&L Background- We are a direct factory manufacturing focused company that has provided a comprehensive range of China based manufacturing capabilities to US importers since 1997. Product lines have been related to plastic injection molding, glass blowing, metal stamping, wood handicrafts, and textiles.
R&L People- Our team of sourcing professionals is combined of US and local China staff that has a wide range of experience and knowledge acquired from different manufacturing projects. Our management team has over 30 years of retail management experience and over 20 years of sourcing different product categories.
R&L Structure- Our Hong Kong base office serves for documentation and logistics purposes. Our Shanghai office operates manufacturing related activities.
R&L Merchandise Inspection Team- Our quality control inspectors are independent of the factories. This allows us to: - Follow up on completion of the required, detailed product sample through the product development stage. - Set up an initial, realistic timeline with the factories for complete and shipment of the approved product. - Monitor factories to stay on the timeline to ensure product shipments arrive on or before our deadline. - Provide constant monitoring of the factory’ s in-line quality assurance, with quality control spot checks until final shipment.
Logistics Management- Our staff works closely with factories on container load information and to push for timely delivery. At times we need to coordinate with multiple freight forwarders to organize combined shipments from more than one factory. For direct import programs, we can arrange shipments from multiple factories.
R&L Understanding & Communication- Understanding our customers’ needs and wants are critical.We also understand the importance to have clear and effective communication to facilitate manufacturing projects.
