Oxea started in March 2007 as a buyout of assets and a joint venture from Celanese and Evonik. With about 1460 employees and sales of about ?1.5 billion， we produce more than 60 Oxo chemicals for customers in a wide range of industries with various end market applications, including construction, automotive, consumer goods,
healthcare and agrochemicals industries, as well as for further uses in the chemicals industry. Oxo chemicals are the core competency of Oxea ; we have the biggest capacity of carboxylic cacid in the world . We are not only the leader in the world at the area of products like Aldehydes, Alcohols, Esters , but also have the broadest product portfolio in Oxo . Apart from these product groups we are also the sole manufacturer of some special Aldehydes, Diols, Specialty Esters and Olefin Derivatives. Currently, Oxea globally have production plants which locate in Germany, United States and Holland. Also, with commercial offices worldwide at Oberhausen, Luxembourg, Mexico, Tokyo, Singapore, Dallas and Shanghai.
In order to meet the strong marketing demand in Asia, in 2008, Oxea China Ltd. established in Shanghai, and, in 2011, Oxea started to construct its new production base in Nanjing Chemical Industrial Park. Currently the first phase of the project is smoothly on going.
