弘毅投资成立于2003年，是联想控股有限公司成员企业中专事股权投资及管理业务的公司。
弘毅投资是中国起步较早、参照国际PE公司惯例设立、业务聚焦在中国本土规范运作的专业投资公司，弘毅投资团队对国际规范的基金组织管理模式有丰富经验，对中国本土化的基金投资业务有深刻理解和成功实践。
弘毅投资现阶段共管理五期基金，总规模超过200亿人民币。弘毅的各期基金由联想控股作为发起人和主要投资人，联合美国、欧洲、亚洲、日本等全球著名投资机构共同投资组成。
2003年1月至今，弘毅投资已先后在金融、建材、医药、装备机械、消费品、连锁服务等多个行业进行了投资。至2008年3月，已累计投资21个项目，07年被投资企业总市值1400亿元，整体销售额近680亿人民币，利税总额超过59亿人民币，被投企业为社会提供就业岗位超过60000个。
