In 1998，Swire Travel was granted the permission to set up a fully-licensed joint venture agency in Beijing with the China International Travel Service (CITS) Head Office, the CITS-Taikoo Air Service (CTAS)（CTAS formally changed its name to \"Swire (Beijing) Air Services Ltd.\" From February 2009）．The main business focus of Swire （Beijing） is to service the increasingly sophisticated travel requirements of the city\'s international community．Swire （Beijing） is an IATA accredited agency，and participates in the local travel agency billings & settlement plan (BSP)．
Swire Travel is currently in the process of setting up a second joint venture agency in Shanghai in the aim to continually expand its client base．

太古旅游目前正在上海筹建第二个合资企业机构，目的是为了不断扩大其客户基础。
