IP Sun JV is co-established by International Paper and Sun Paper Group. The joint venture combines International Paper’s management and technology experience with Sun Paper Group’s local resources and in-depth understanding of local market. International Paper Company owns 55% of shares, Shandong Sun Paper Industry Joint Stock Co., Ltd. owns 45%. The JV now has 4 paper machines supplied by Metso (PM17, PM18, PM22, PM26), with capacity of 1400K mt/year, and the main products are Premium Coated Paperboard (Cigarette Board, Liquid Packaging Board, C1S Ivory Board and C2S Bristol Artboard). The net sales in 2012 is $ 833 million.
