today the group employs approximately 3000 personnel with a presence in at least 40 countries. in early 1993 huber+suhner established business contacts in china. we had a manufacturing & trading company in shanghai jinqiao area, 4 branches in beijing, shenzhen, chendu and changchun, with around 1300 local employees.
