GEOS was founded as Amvic in 1973, with the goal of furthering international communication through English language education. Today, GEOS is a global network with more than 620 schools and colleges in 22 different countries, and offers a wide range of courses in a variety of languages. With branches throughout Europe, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and Asia, GEOS is currently providing students of over 140 nationalities the chance to study in an academic environment that is educationally and culturally diverse.
