INTRODUCTION学校简介
Rainbow Bridge International School first opened its doors in 1997 with two classes serving eighteen preschool students. During the next six years the student population increased and the physical facilities expanded. In January 2003, the school was issued permission to open an international elementary school accommodating students in first through fifth grades. Currently RBIS has eighteen preschool classes, five kindergarten classes, and seven elementary classes. Our diverse student body of over 350 students come from Thirty-one countries. The faculty is comprised of native English speakers who bring their unique educational perspectives from around the globe.
上海虹桥国际学校创始于1997年。建校时规模为幼儿部两个班级，学生人数18名。在随后的六年内，学校有了茁壮的成长。2003年1月，经中华人民共和国国家教育部批准，我校获准开办小学部。发展至今，学校的规模为：低幼部18个班级、大班5个班级、小学部7个班级，学生来自全球30多个国家，学生年龄为18个月到小学五年级，人数为350多名。
At RBIS we understand the value of fostering an international perspective in our students and are committed to cultivating global citizenship. Diverse staff and student populations learn form each other, coming together to value and respect cultural differences. Students extend their cultural compassion to all living things through our partnership with the environmental organization Roots and Shoots.
