In February 2006, Matson launched a new weekly liner service from Los Angeles/Long Beach, California, to Ningbo and Shanghai, using five 2600-TEU containerships. In May 2009, we introduced Xiamen port to our CLX service scope. The company has offices in Shanghai, Ningbo and Xiamen. In China, the company pioneered the concept and accomplished the goal of 12-day availability from Shanghai to Los Angeles/Long Beach.
In June 2009, Matson Logistics (Shanghai) Co., Ltd was founded. By this way, Matson can provide logistics service to the customers.
