Mott Corporation was founded as a Connecticut corporation on July 9, 1959 by Lambert H. Mott. The company consists of two divisions; the Industrial Division which produces large chemical filtration systems and specialty porous devices, and the High Purity Division which produces filters for semiconductor quality gases.
Mott’s production facilities are located in Farmington, Connecticut. The present product line includes porous metal shapes, air bearings and vacuum devices, flow restrictors, gas/liquid contacters and a wide range of filtration products such as precision filter elements, sampling filters, polymer filters, High Purity filters and large industrial and instrumentation filters.
Mott products can be found in such industries as chemical/petrochemical processing, textile mill products, transportation equipment, semiconductor manufacturing, medical/surgical equipment, pharmaceutical manufacturing, food/beverage products, printing and publishing, chromatography equipment and supplies, petroleum refining and coal mining.
Mott provides unique solutions by developing new products using porous metal, as well as finding new applications for its existing product offering. Many of the Company’s customers have maintained a relationship with the Company for years. The Company has a substantial amount of repeat business.
