DigitalOptics Corporation (DOC), a wholly owned subsidiary of Tessera Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq: TSRA), delivers innovation in imaging and optics with products and capabilities that enable expanded functionality in increasingly smaller devices. DOC’ miniaturized camera module solutions provide cost-effective, high-quality camera features, including extended depth of field (EDoF), zoom, image enhancement, optical image stabilization and MEMS-based autofocus. These technologies can be applied to consumer electronic products. The group also offers customized micro-optic lenses from diffractive and refractive optical elements to integrated micro-optical subassemblies.
DOC technologies have gained strong market acceptance already. Their technologies are used in digital still cameras from more than 90% of the leading OEMs. DOC technologies are embedded in the mobile phones of 6 of the Top 10 OEMs. We expect DOC revolutionary MEMS autofocus technology to be confirmed for use by multiple Tier One OEMs in the near future.
DigitalOptics Corporation Zhuhai was formally established in June, 2012. The facility is mainly for fixed focus and auto focus camera module with around 700 employees currently. With the business development in China, we invite talents to join us.
