特易购在中国
特易购重视在中国的发展。2004年，特易购正式进入中国，业务主要覆盖华北、华东及华南三大区域。截止目前，特易购集团在华员工总数超过30，000人，已拥有95家“Tesco 乐购”大卖场、12家试验阶段便捷店。
此外，中国也已经成为特易购全球最大的产品来源地，特易购每年在中国的采购量达25亿美元，产品涵盖广泛，被运往全球各地。特易购国际联采运营总部设立在香港，并且在上海设有办事处。
特易购对中国的发展充满信心。2007年，特易购在中国成立了特易购地产集团 (Tesco Property)，主要负责中国商业地产的购买、开发和运营。

特易购地产集团成立于2007年，是英国特易购集团全资控股的子公司，负责购买、开发和运营综合商业地产项目，尤其是一站式、大型购物中心。特易购集团投资开发的“Lifespace乐都汇”购物中心已在青岛、秦皇岛、抚顺、鞍山和福州陆续开业。
通过建设和运营更多的“Lifespace乐都汇”购物中心，特易购地产将更好地服务中国的消费者，创造更多的就业机会，推进城市的经济建设与发展。
“Lifespace乐都汇”购物中心
作为由零售商为零售商打造的零售项目，“Lifespace乐都汇”购物中心战略性地选择主要的增长型城市，位于繁华主干道上最显著和最醒目的位置，为顾客提供广泛的产品和服务，包括购物、娱乐休闲设施、餐饮和生活服务。
每一家“Lifespace乐都汇”都会有一家“Tesco 乐购”大卖场和领先的零售商户作为主力商户进驻，并提供适当组合的本土及国际产品和服务、社区氛围、充足的停车空间以及免费的购物班车，这一切旨在服务于当地邻里和社区。乐都汇购物中心周边也具有便捷的公交路线。
“Lifespace乐都汇”购物中心的零售面积为4-6万平方米（相当于大约250家店铺），其中包括1万平方米的全方位“Tesco 乐购”大型卖场，可以满足顾客80%以上的常规购物需求。
特易购集团致力于到2050年实现零碳排放量，并到2020年实现建筑物碳排放减半（参比2006/07年）。为展现此承诺，“Lifespace乐都汇”购物中心采用最佳“绿色”设计，每家购物中心都安装了双层玻璃，节能灯泡和自动感应扶梯。与其他类似规模的购物中心相比，乐都汇购物中心节省了20%的能源。

TESCO in China Tesco places great significance on its growth and development in China. It entered the retail market in China in 2004, growing to a business with 95 Tesco Legou Hypermarkets and 12 Express stores and about 30,000 staff.
Tesco began sourcing in China as far back as 1970 and as a Group now buys more than $2.5bn worth of goods from China every year. Its international sourcing operation is headquartered in Hong Kong and also operates an office in Shanghai.
In 2007, Tesco decided to step up its investment in China by establishing Tesco Property Holdings Ltd. as an independent company to purchase, develop and operate property developments in China. Up to now, Tesco Property has opened 5 Lifespace shopping malls in Qingdao, Qinhuangdao, Fushun, Anshan and Fuzhou with dozens more under development or planning.
By building and operating more Lifespace shopping malls, Tesco Property will continue to create value for customers, support local community and promote China\'s economic development.

Anchored by Tesco Legou hypermarket and other leading retailers, Lifespace malls are designed to serve local neighborhoods and districts by providing a good mix of local and international brands and services, a community atmosphere, ample car parking and a free shuttle bus service. Our malls are also well serviced by public transport.
With between 40,000 and 60,000 square metres of retail space under one roof (equivalent to approximately 250 shops), including a full line 10,000square metres Tesco Legou hypermarket, Lifespace can satisfy more than 80% of customers\' regular shopping needs.
Tesco is committed to being carbon-neutral by 2050 and halving emissions from our 2006/7 baseline portfolio of buildings by 2020. Demonstrating this commitment, Lifespace shopping malls adopt \"green\" designs, with double glazed windows, energy-saving bulbs and auto-sensing escalators to save electricity, using 20% less energy compared with other similar sized shopping malls.
