圣尼斯种子（中国）有限公司成立于 1994 年，通过对世界著名蔬菜种子公司的收购、投资、以及战略合作，成 为世界最大的蔬菜种子公司之一，年销售额占全球商业蔬菜水果种子市场的 20% 。圣尼斯于 1994 年收购了美国雅士哥种子公司和荷兰奔司马种子公司； 1995 年收购了美国皮托种子公司和荷兰皇家种子公司； 1998 年收购了韩国兴农种子公司和韩国中央种子公司。圣尼斯在 150 多个国家和地区为广大种植者提供 60 多种作物超过 3500 个品种。通过结合传统育种和现代生物技术，圣尼斯不断研制出营养 更丰富、口感更好、产量更高、耐储时间更长，对农药肥料需求更少的新品种，圣尼斯为全球农业的可持续发展做出了卓越贡献。 2005 年，圣尼斯成为美国孟山都公司的子公司。主要从事蔬菜种子的研究 和销售。经销韩国兴农、美国皮托、韩国中央、美国雅士哥、美国加利福尼亚、荷兰皇家、荷兰奔马司等世界知名品牌。现因业务扩展需要，面向全国招聘人员。
Seminis was established in 1994. As a result of acquisitions, investments and strategic partnership with many most recognized vegetable seed brand in the world, Seminis is now the largest fruit and vegetable seed company in the world, representing 20% of the global commercial vegetable and fruit seed market. Seminis purchased Asgrow Seed Company and Bruinsma in 1994; Petoseed Company and Royal Sluis in 1995; Hungnong Seed CO.,Ltd. and Choong Ang Seed Co.,in 1998. Seminis offers growers more than 3500 seed varieties representing nearly 60 crops in more than 150 countris and territories. By combining classic plant breeding with modern biotechnology, Seminis enhances nutrition and health, creates better tasting foods, increase crop yields, limits spoilage, reduces the need for agricultural chemicals, and helps sustain agriculture for future generation. Seminis becomes a wholly owned subsidiary of Monsanto Co., in 2005. Monsanto Company is a leading global provider of technology-based tools and agricultural products that improve farm productivity and food quality.
