NNIT was established as an independent company from Novo Nordisk in 1999 yet still owned by Novo Nordisk. NNIT is one of Denmark’s leading consultancies in IT development, implementation and operations. Today, NNIT has more than 1,500 employees and a turnover in 2010 of DKK 1,654 million, which represents a growth of 4.2% compared to the previous year.
NNIT has five foreign affiliates and offices outside Denmark, including NNIT (Tianjin) Technology Co. Ltd. The others office are located in USA, the Czech Republic
(SAP Backup Center), Philippines (Microsoft Development Center) and Switzerland (a sales agency).
The official establishment of NNIT（Tianjin）Technology Co. Ltd on 26 September 2007 marked its becoming the third foreign office of NNIT. Our domestic and foreign customers are mainly from the pharmaceutical, drug and food industries to whom we provide the latest and professional IT service compatible with the global standards. We have now 300 employees in our China office and we plan to increase the number to 500 in 2 years.

NNIT在全球的国外分公司分别设立在中国，美国，德国，瑞士，捷克（SAP中心）及菲律宾（微软研发中心）。
2007年9月26日，诺和诺德（天津）科技有限公司（NNIT （TianJin）technology Co.,Ltd）正式挂牌之后，成为诺和诺德信息技术公司分布全球的第三家驻外办事机构，其主要客户来自于制药与食品行业。诺和诺德(天津)科技有限公司将能够为国际客户在中国提供与全球同步的IT服务。目前，诺和诺德(天津)科技有限公司在中国的员工总数为300人，并且计划在未来2年内将雇员总数增长到500人。
