FACULTY APPOINTMENTS
The National Institute of Education (NIE), an Institute of the Nanyang Technological University, trains teachers of all subjects at pre-school, primary school, secondary and pre-university levels. It aims to achieve excellence in teacher education and educational research in the humanities and fine arts, science, education and physical education. It offers courses that range from diploma to degree and post-graduate levels.
Invitations for Applications
The Institute is inviting high calibre applicants who possess a PhD in the relevant fields and preferably with a proven track record in research and teaching at university level, to apply for faculty appointments in its Centre for Research in Pedagogy and Practice and the various Academic Groups. Applicants with formal teaching qualifications and extensive teaching experience at primary/secondary levels will have an advantage. Successful applicants are expected to contribute to a range of pre-service, in-service and postgraduate teacher education programmes and to educational research
